Also, we wanted to pass along some helpful hints for getting the most out of your Gitit MAX!
REMINDER: Gitit MAX! is a high-performance fetch toy designed for use in large outdoor spaces with plenty of room to run. It is definitely not your tiny back yard kinda toy.
Also, Gitit MAX! also requires a degree of physical exertion to launch properly and an initial ring break-in period to achieve maximum long-term performance.
OUT-OF-THE-BOX: The Gitit MAX! ring is designed to FIT SNUGLY into the launcher to ensure the highest maximum performance over time. Out-of-the-box, the ring will have a level of stickiness that may cause a degree of difficulty during initial launches.
To immediately reduce the tackiness of the ring, Gitit recommends one of the following

Scuff the Ring - Rub the exterior of the ring briefly along a rough surface (dirt, sidewalk, sandpaper, etc.) to reduce the tackiness where the ring makes contact with the launcher.

Use “Half-Rip” throws at first: Insert the ring just past half-way into the launcher on the first throws. The ring will still be given proper top spin upon release but will only travel about half the distance.
Ring tackiness will continue to reduce as the ring encounters grass, water, dirt, and other matter. After this initial break-in period, you will find the ring will release from the launcher easier.
In addition, Gitit recommends the first 10 or 20 throws be aimed high (about 60 degrees or 2:00pm) with a vigorous throw to learn the toy’s release point and get a feel for the toy’s performance.

The Gitit container arrived this week. It has been offloaded, counted, sorted, and stacked. We are beginning fulfillment Monday 4/1 (not an April Fool's joke ;-)

Gitit MAX! Fulfillment Begins - April 2, 2024

Hello Gitit MAX! Backers.
We wanted to provide a final note to let everyone know that the Gitit MAX! container arrives at the Austin TX warehouse next week - Wed March 27th. We will begin fulfillment of US orders the following week and process as many as we can each day. International orders will follow shortly thereafter.
We hope to have all shipments on their way in the next 2-3 weeks.

If you haven't already, please complete the BackerKit survey ASAP so we can finalize and fulfill your reward.
